Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist (and UC Davis doctoral graduate) Dave Nachmanoff will perform a solo show at the N Street Co-housing Common House, on Saturday, Nov. 4. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance for $20. $25 at the door.

For this concert, titled "Under the Influence," Nachmanoff, who has recorded dozens of songs over the years, will highlight other songwriters who have influenced his songs. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Nachmanoff is asking audience members to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to STEAC (Short Term Emergency Aid Committee). He will give a $5 discount on his CDs to anyone bringing food to donate.

Based in Davis, Nachmanoff performs globally as a solo artist, and sometimes as a touring partner to Al Stewart ("Year of the Cat") in a wide variety of venues.
