Mark your calendars: UC Davis and Stanford will face each other on the gridiron in 2018, for what will be the schools’ third matchup since 2005. And what a game that was in 2005, as the Aggies won 20-17 in what the Los Angeles Times called one of the greatest upsets of all time.
The 2018 game is set for Saturday, Sept. 15, in Stanford Stadium. With Stanford on the schedule, UC Davis will be facing three Football Bowl Subdivision opponents in as many years: at San Diego State in this year’s season opener, Sept. 2; at Stanford, 2018; and at Cal, 2019.
The Aggies and Cardinal have met just three times, the first time in 1932, then in 2005 (Aggies win) and 2014 (Cardinal wins).
UC Davis 2017 season tickets are on sale! Staff and faculty receive a $20 discount on regular reserved seats and premium reserved seats (with no requirement for a Team Aggie donation). Here’s the schedule and here’s the faculty and staff ticket order form.

Flying high above Davis
The student club that spends much of its time at EDU (that’s the Federal Aviation Administration’s code for our University Airport) held an open house earlier this month and took visitors for rides over Davis.
