Finals conclude this Friday (Dec. 13), and after that, we’ll have the place to ourselves for a couple of weeks! With our students gone for the holidays, campus eateries and coffee stands will be closing or cutting back hours — but do not despair, staff and faculty: We have the scoop on where you can find coffee, lunch and snacks most weekdays (except for the official winter holidays, Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1).

Next week, for coffee, at least, we’ll still have the Coffee House, Scrubs Café, The Market at the Memorial Union and Café Walter, but after that, Dec. 23-27, it will just be The Market at the MU, open Dec. 23, 26 and 27, if you happen to be working those days. The Market at the MU will also be open Dec. 30 and Jan. 2-3.

Food trucks will try to make a go of it next week. They are hoping to be here through Friday, Dec. 20, but may cut back hours or skip coming to campus altogether if business is slow.

Look for the food trucks to return and other places to reopen Monday, Jan. 6, the first day of instruction of winter quarter.

●︎ Coffee House (Memorial Union) — Regular hours and operations through Friday, Dec. 13. Then:

• Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 14-15 — Closed.
• Monday-Friday, Dec. 16-20 — Limited operations: Swirlz Bakery, 7 a.m.-4 p.m.; Ciao (pizza only), 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; and TxMx Grill, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. (The Fickle Pickle Deli also may be open, 7 a.m.-3 p.m., depending on staff availability.)
• Dec. 21-Jan. 5 — Closed.
• Monday, Jan. 6 — Regular hours and operations resume.

●︎ CoHo South Café and BioBrew by CoHo — Open through Friday, Dec. 13, then closed until Jan. 6.

●︎ Scrubs Café (Health Sciences District) — Open through Friday, Dec. 20, then closed until Jan. 6.

●︎ Peet’s Coffee — Silo (temporary trailer) and King Hall open through Friday, Dec. 13, and ARC open through Saturday, Dec. 14, then, all three are closed until Jan. 6. The International Center coffee stand closed Dec. 6 and will not reopen until Jan. 6.
