Davis campus staff, academics and students now have access to additional COVID-19 testing sites in Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove and Folsom — perhaps closer to where you live.
The screening is for asymptomatic people only, by way of the same saliva-based test system in use at the Activities and Recreation Center, is being offered by UC Davis Health at four locations — and Davis campus affiliates are welcome, perhaps saving them a trip to the ARC.
The appointment system is the same, accessible through the Health-e-Messaging portal. Here are the additional locations that have been added to the appointment system:
- Sacramento campus — Betty Irene Moore Hall. Open seven days a week, 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Designated parking spots available in Lot 19 (4700 Second Ave.).
- Roseville — UC Davis Health Roseville Clinic, 1620 E. Roseville Parkway. Open 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.
- Elk Grove — UC Davis Health Elk Grove Clinic, 8110 Laguna Blvd. Open 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays.
- Folsom — UC Davis Health Specialty Clinic, 1370 Prairie City Road (parking lot). Open 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays.
These sites are not open to families of employees and students at this time, nor to community members or UC Davis Health patients (other than employees and students).
Davis campus testing sites
The ARC testing kiosk is open seven days a week by appointment: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Follow signs to enter via the double doors near the ballrooms. Free 30-minute parking in Lot 25 for testing participants.
A mobile testing kiosk is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays at the School of Veterinary Medicine Student Services and Administrative Center.
If you’re going
No matter which site you select, be sure to complete your Daily Symptom Survey and be ready to show your “approved” status. Also, be sure not to eat or drink at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time.
Note: If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you should contact your health care provider.
