Distributed by KVIE public television, Unexpected Legends: Arneson, Eggheads and Arts at UC Davis tells the surprising tale of the UC Davis art department from its founders to its inheritors.

Robert Arneson Park is a 5-acre park located in northeast Davis near the corner of Wright Boulevard and Moore Boulevard.

In addition to the Eggheads, Robert Arneson has an array of other art and books on display throughout the library. He was incredibly prolific. See for yourself.

Drop by! First, visit Bookhead outside. It was the first Egghead installed back in October 1991.

At the beginning of the Year of the Eggheads, MFA student Trevor Bashaw read aloud his commemorative poem called "egghead ballad." You too can enjoy this poem whenever you want. (See link below.)
