The California Aggie Marching Band-uh is preparing to jam-uh!

It is the Summer Jam-uh, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. every other Monday on the lawn outside the Rec Pool Lodge and the Rec Pool, starting June 22. The band’s other dates at this venue are as follows: July 6 and 20, and Aug. 3 and 17.

The Rec Pool performances are free and open to the public. In fact, Campus Recreation — which sponsors the marching band and runs the swimming pool — offers this suggestion: go for an evening swim, then, when the pool closes at 7, step outside the gates and listen to the band!

The pool is open to the public. Summer hours are 2 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free for Activities and Recreation Center members, $4 for the general public, $3.50 for ages 3 to 17, and free for ages 2 and under. UC Davis students are admitted free, while continuing students (not presently enrolled) pay $2.
