European Academic Leaders to Discuss Pandemic, Future of International Education

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the future of international education will be the subject of an online conversation with leaders from European universities Thursday, July 9.

The fourth in a series of live discussions with educational leaders from more than a dozen countries, the European panel will include:

The series, “The Future of International Education: Leadership Perspectives From Around the World,” is co-hosted by the Institute of International Education, or IIE, and the University of California, Davis. See the series news release.  

IIE President Allan E. Goodman will moderate the regional panel on Europe, which will begin at 8 a.m. PDT ( 3 p.m. UTC).

The series will conclude July 16 with panelists from Latin America:

Gary S. May, chancellor of UC Davis, will moderate.

The hourlong sessions are open to the public. For each session, advance registration is required and will close when seats are filled. Recordings of the discussions are available on the series webpage.
