Old Davis Road near westbound Interstate 80 was briefly closed Wednesday evening (Feb. 26) following a collision between two cars. UC Davis police and fire responded to the accident about 5 p.m., and police issued a WarnMe alert advising drivers to avoid the area. 

The incident was cleared and the road reopened by 5:30 p.m. There were no reports of injuries requiring transport.
