Two classes of honorees were inducted into the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame Friday (Oct. 1). The ceremony honored not only the 2021 recipients, but also the Class of 2020 honorees, whose ceremony had to be canceled due to the pandemic.
This year’s inductees are:

- Katie McMahon
- Marc Manfredda
- Corey Hawkins
- Sydnee Fipps
- Cookie Arrighi

Fire chief promotes openness about mental health
Fire Chief Nate Trauernicht spoke to KCRA 3 about the stigma associated with admitting to having mental health issues, especially for first responders. He also talked about his own mental health and how he has learned that he isn’t alone.
Student goes up close with food on TikTok
Justice Dodson is an undergraduate student studying molecular and medical microbiology, and has used his lab instruments to grow a following of more than 1 million people on TikTok since the start of the pandemic. He posts videos of various foods and other items as seen through a microscope, and responds to requests for the next items he should examine.
