We’ve got fans in Lowe places
The Aggies may not have had the national name recognition of their Jayhawk competitors last Friday (March 17), but at least one of their fans did: Rob Lowe. The actor and his son John were in the stands, rooting for the UC Davis men’s basketball team when it played in the NCAA’s Division I Midwest Regional in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were in the area filming for The Lowe Files, a forthcoming television series in which Lowe and his two sons will investigate mysteries. Turns out, Shaun Keister, vice chancellor of Development and Alumni Relations, sat near Lowe on their flight to Tulsa and offered him tickets to the game — which he accepted.
Congratulations from Rob Lowe
UC Davis Cheer Team: "Y'all had a great season. You should be proud" -Rob Lowe. We are proud Rob Lowe, couldn't be prouder of our Aggies.
Screaming out the finals stress
