The TLC, which will provide classroom space in the campus core for approximately 2,000 students, is due for occupancy in the spring of 2022.

New K-9 on the health campus
The Davis campus has Charlie, and now the Sacramento campus has Rono. He’s the first full-time police dog to be assigned to UC Davis Health. Like Charlie, his role will be split between serious police duties and outreach.
“I’m definitely a ‘people pup,’” Rono is quoted as “saying” in a news article.
Lt. Danny Sheffield said Rono was scheduled to complete training and have a swearing-in ceremony with Police Chief Joe Farrow this month.
