Update 10 a.m. Nov. 10: The start of the lighting walk has been moved to the north lawn of Walker Hall.
The UC Davis community is invited to a fall campus lighting walk next week to look for burnt out bulbs or places where additional lighting could make the university safer.
The walk will kick off on the north lawn of Walker Hall at 5 p.m. on Nov. 14, and will focus on areas that are an easy walking distance from the building.
“Our reports will then go to the Facilities Management Electrical Shop and the lights will be fixed,” a webpage for the event states. “Help us keep the night bright for all campus residents and visitors.”
Participants are encouraged to RSVP online prior to the event.
Next week’s event is an additional lighting walk on top of the regularly scheduled event, which is held each January.
