UC Davis Stores has established three new retail partnerships, two of them online and the third that will bring an “automated convenience store” to the south side of the Memorial Union.
All three deals, like UC Davis Stores’ deal with online retailer Amazon, help support student programs and services.
Promoversity — It’s the place to go for customized UC Davis products, such as T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and hats, sport bottles and travel mugs, all at very competitive prices. A launch event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the lobby of the Activities and Recreation Center. Talk with a Promoversity representative, see samples and enter a drawing for $100 worth of UC Davis products. Here’s the UC Davis co-store: http://www.costore.com/UCDavisInternal/welcome.asp.
Newegg — Electronic goods from top brands like Microsoft and Samsung, exclusive promotions and savings, on-campus deliveries, free shipping for in-store pick-ups, and exclusive product launches. The TechHub will host a launch event with Newegg reps from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25. Here’s the UC Davis co-store: http://estore.neweggbusiness.com/ucdavis.
Shop24 — The ultimate vending machine for a university, providing 24-hour-a-day access to all your favorite convenience store foods, as well as top-selling school and office supplies. So, as of March 23, the next time you need a late-night energy drink or a sandwich for the road, you know where to go. UC Davis will share profits with Shop24 until the machine is paid off. UPDATE: Shop24 will not come to UC Davis, after all. Read more.
