UC Davis will test its WarnMe emergency notification system on Monday (March 12). The test will go out about 11:50 a.m. by text and email to UC Davis students and employees and by text only to those who have subscribed to UCDALERTS.
The notification system draws on employees’ work contact information as published in the university’s online directory and includes students’ UC Davis email addresses. Members of the campus community can add personal contact information and should remember to keep their information current.
Contractors, vendors and other visitors can subscribe to get — by text only — the same WarnMe and Aggie Alert messages sent to the campus and community subscribers. To register, text UCDALERTS to 67283.
Parents and others are also able to sign up at the WarnMe community page to receive the text and email notifications. The test message will not be sent to them.
